Check Out New Videos by Friends and Ana Lola Roman Directed by EVR’s Matthew Caron

EVR DJs lead pretty full lives. When not doing their thing in our state-of-the-art storefront studio, they can be found all around NYC—spinning beats for packed clubs, waxing all intellectual about vinyl at record stores, and various other activities. One of our DJs, Matthew Caron (Bim Bam Boom), happens to be quite an accomplished video director. His resume boasts work with an impressive roster of rising NYC artists who are no strangers to East Village Radio including Total Slacker, Suckers, and Dinowalrus. He has recently finished work on two new videos: one for Brooklyn band Friends (which premiered this week on Stereogum) and one for the soon-to-be-huge Ana Lola Roman which debuted on Disco Naivete. Check out both videos after the jump and see what Matthew does when he’s not spinning day-glo pop jams at 19 First Avenue.
